Children from Sherborne School had a surprise treat on a visit to Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park this week when they were joined unexpectedly by Timmy the sheep.
The Aardman character – star of hit children’s TV show Timmy Time – was there on a scouting mission prior to a 6 week event he will be hosting at Weymouth SEA LIFE from Saturday, July 21st.
“He’s here over the summer to mark the launch of a new Timmy Time episode called Timmy’s Seaside Rescue,” said the Park’s Marketing Manager Emma Vagg.
“And since he was here anyway we thought we’d give the children from Sherborne School an extra treat even before his official visit gets underway.”
Activities lined up for the summer event include a themed quiz-trail, rockpool exploring, shows, sing alongs to the Timmy Time theme song and an exclusive model-making competition.
The winner of the model-making competition could scoop a trip to Aardman Studios in Bristol to see how the experts do it, at the home of Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts, Shaun the Sheep and other family favourites.
