The RNLI Charity Ball to Be Held At the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy
The Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) Charity Ball is to be held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) on April 24th 2010. The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea as well as working to promote sea and beach safety, the WPNSA is thrilled to be hosting this event in support of such a worthy cause.
Guests will be entertained by one of the best bands in the South-West, Ben Waters and his band; David Days will be performing mind-blowing magic; and ‘WOW’ (Weymouth Operatic Workshop) will be putting on a musical and cabaret show. In addition, there will be a raffle with prizes including a £100 voucher for Serene Exclusive Ladieswear of Poundbury, Dorchester, vouchers for The Ocean Spa and vouchers for 2 nights at a Dean and Reddyhoff Marina.
The WPNSA will provide the ideal venue to host the ball as it is a wonderful event location. It is also the venue for the upcoming Games making it an extremely highly regarded and experienced venue for not only sailing but also non-sailing related conferences and events. Tickets to this event are now sold out; a testament to the success of last year’s RNLI ball at the WPNSA.
John Tweed, Chief Executive of WPNSA comments, “The Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy is honoured to be hosting this fundraising event for the second year running. The RNLI is a fantastic cause and we are glad that we can assist these fundraising efforts through use of our facilities.”
