The Spirit of the Sea Festival in Weymouth and Portland is a celebration of our rich maritime heritage and involves many local people, children and businesses who put together a fantastic program of events for all to enjoy, below is a list of the fun you can be having:
Every Day – Kayaking with Jurassic Kayak Tours at Lulworth Cove 9am/1pm/4.30pm
Tuesday 3rd July
Weymouth Schools Beach Festival 9am – 3pm
Saturday 7th July
Dorset Seafood Festival – all day all along the harbour, this is a “must go to” event, definately not to be missed.
Kayak & Stand up Paddleboarding at Ferrybridge 9.30am – 4.30pm
Weymouth Regatta – Keelboats in Weymouth Bay 10.30am – 4.30pm
Art in the Park in Easton Square on Portland 10am – 4pm
Big Grove Summer Festival at The Stadium on Portland 12am – 12pm
Spirit of the Sea Ball at the Prince Regent 7.30pm
Travelling Liosaur Cinema at the Jubilee Clock on the Esplanade in Weymouth 11am/2pm/4pm
The Cabinet Makers Daughter at Weymouth Pavilion 7.30pm – 9.45pm
Sunday 8th July
Dorset Seafood Festival continues, make sure you get to Weymouth Harbourside, you can’t miss it, it’s big and it’s fantastic.

Thursday 12th July
Moving Tides Procession through Weymouth Town and along the Esplanade with over 800 school children and quite a spectacle to behold 3.45pm – 5pm

Weymouth Regatta – Dinghy in Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour 10.30am – 4.30pm
Kayak & Stand up Paddleboarding at Ferrybridge 9.30am – 4.30pm
Sunday 15th July
